Welcome to Motor Technology

We are a family owned servo, motion control, flow control and automation specialist based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Motec House is nestled on the bank of the river Goyt at the entrance to Chadkirk Country Estate, home to Chadkirk Chapel which dates back to around 1350ad.

From our incorporation in 1985 our aim has been to provide high quality, reliable products to our customers backed by a personal, responsive and flexible service.

With one of the widest ranges of servo and motion control products, Motor Technology is the UK agent for some of the most well known and trusted manufacturers from Europe and around the world. Our range includes the very latest in servo drives and motors, direct drive motors, stand alone motion controllers, precision planetary and worm gearboxes, precision couplings, incremental and absolute encoders and mechanical actuators.

We are an independent company and not tied to any one manufacturer. When designing a drive or control system, we can source components from different suppliers to offer the best solution for your application. This also enables us to provide cost effective options to suit your exact needs.

We design systems based on our extensive knowledge of a wide range of products and  technologies, and can supply product combinations that not all manufacturers will have available.

This flexibility enables us to give customers improved performance for their applications and machinery, all the while providing the tools and support necessary to ensure a successful integration.

Since 2010 we have also been the European Agent for Fuji-Techno Industries, Japan, manufacturer of high precision, low pulsation super metering pumps. In combination with our range of drive and control equipment, we provide pump drive assemblies, control units and complete skids.
