The
complete control unit including output stage, 1-phase mains supply circuit
with capacitor and the ballast circuit are on one Eurocard.
There are two differential inputs for the speed controlling.
By introducing the SMD-technology, the IxR compensation could be built in.
The working frequency is 18 kHz, and is not audible.
If there is an unhindered air supply, the control unit is self-cooling.
Several amplifiers of the 02S series can be
driven from one central isolating transformer.
Up to 9 amplifiers of the series 02S can be
built into one 84TE basis unit (3HE).
Power supply
Main voltage : 21.5V AC via isolating transformer
Auxiliary voltage : 2 x 15V AC via isolating transformer
Monitors
The peak current is limited to 10A, the RMS-current is controlled by I²t-monitoring.
If the twin choke DL 0.6-6/15 is used, the controller is short proof.
