Intensive
observation of the market and precise analysis of customers wishes is the
foundation of all development at Danaher Motion. The new, digital multi-axis system
SERVOSTAR® 400 is the result of this research.
Due to years of experience in digital servo technology and field bus systems, we are
able to offer a servo system that delivers maximum performance in
minimum space at minimum cost.
We give you a complete servo system: servo amplifiers, motors, and installation-ready cabling.
SERVOSTAR® 400 is completely software-compatible with the well-known and established SERVOSTAR® 600.
The internal bus connection between the modules makes system wiring very much
simpler.
For a system with 8 axes, this means
1 power line connection
1 enable connection | |
1 BTB contact | |
1 fieldbus connection (2x)
1 PC connection |
Highlights
Operation directly from mains supply (non
earthed operation allowed)
Power supply and regen circuit integrated in the master (first axis) - stand-alone operation
integral mains filter | |
Up to 7 extension axes at one master
Mounting on hat rail: suitable for 300mm switchgear cabinets
All shield connections directly at the amplifier
Resolver and encoder feedback
Current controller, speed controller, position controller, electrical gearing, RS232, CANopen
LED-Display and keyboard in the front panel of the master module for addressing and status monitoring
Slot for option card | |
Encoder emulation, ROD426- compatible (dez./bin.) or SSI (Gray/binär) selectable
Controls for the motor brake
Fully programmable via RS232 interface
Operation from a PC via setup software (with WINDOWS 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP) |
Standard equipment
Interface integrated for stepper controllers, master-slave operation and electronic gearing
CANopen integrated (overview
PDOs) | |
integrated position controller with memory for 180 motion tasks
intelligent positioning: |
speed profiles
register control
jolt limiting
daisy chained tasks
absolute and relative tasks
several types of reference traverses
PLC functionality | |
Encoder emulation, incremental (ROD426, dec./bin.) or absolute (SSI, Gray/bin.)
Feedback from resolver or high resolution sine-cosine encoder |
CE-conformity
SERVOSTAR® meets all relevant standards :
EMC Directive 89/336/EWG
Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EWG |
Options and expansion cards
SERVOSTAR® has an open hardware and software architecture. Due to this the amplifier is ready
for nearly all conceivable customer specific modifications and field bus interfaces :
PROFIBUS DP (optional)
SERCOS-Interface (optional) |
High resolution motion tasks
The integrated encoder interface makes it possible to connect a high resolution single or
multi-turn sine-cosine encoder as feedback unit directly to the amplifier.
Completely digital control
The digital current controller (space vector PWM, 62.5µs), the programmable digital speed controller (62,5µs)
and the integrated position controller (adaptable to nearly every motion task) are highlights
of innovation in digital control technology.
