Motor Technology has extended its range of Servostar 600   on-line, digital servo drives with the addition of two new high-power units.

The Servostar 640 and 670 drives, manufactured by Kollmorgen-Seidel, are designed for high-power applications of up to 30kVA and 50kVA respectively.

This more than doubles the power range of the Servostar 600 series which was previously rated for applications up to 14kVA.

Typical applications will include use on machinery for: textiles, packaging, handling, woodworking, plastics, and industrial robots.
