Elastomer Coupling Model EK 4
for conical shaft ends from 6 - 400 Nm

	for conical shaft ends (e.g. Fanuc motors)
	easy mounting
	conical hub mounts axially

Design:
Two coupling hubs are concentrically machined with concave driving jaws.
One side with clamping hub and a radial screw ISO 4762.
One side with a hub conically bored with keyway according to customer
requirement.

Temperature range:
The temperature range depends on the Elastomer insert.

Backlash:
Absolutely backlash-free.

Service life:
R+W couplings are maintenance-free and have an infinite life, if the tolerances are not exceeded.

Fit tolerance:
On the hub/shaft connection 0.01 to 0.05 mm.

Material:
Clamping hub: high strength aluminium.
Conical hub: steel.
Elastomer insert: precision molded wear resistant and
thermally stable polymer.

Non-standard application:
Custom designs with varied tolerances, keyways and non-standard material are available upon request.

Technical Data:

	rated torque from 6 - 400 Nm
	shaft diameter from 8 - 35 mm
